During the summer of 2014, Hickingbotham Investments came to Mass Enthusiasm with a need for a t-shirt to commemorate their sponsorship of the 20th annual Race for the Cure in Little Rock. Having known so many people touched by breast cancer, we did not take to this task lightly.
Hours of concepting and drawing numerous sketches of ideas brought us to a simple but almost impossible to produce solution. Our design was comprised of printing a dot for all 40,000 people who would be running at the race, which would form the shapes of the numbers "2" and "0". Painstakingly, we positioned each dot on the graphic, counting them until their were exactly 40,000. As this is not the typical work that goes into producing t-shirt, we wanted to go above and beyond for its development. This shirt represented the 40,000 people running in the race as well as the founding sponsor, its 20 years of celebration, and all the breast cancer survivors. The time and effort paid off because the shirt was awarded "best t-shirt design" at the Race for the Cure in Little Rock for 2013.
